HiveMQ's Vision for this Role

HiveMQ is looking for an energetic Social & Engagement Manager to support communications and drive social media and creative brand activation. You'll be responsible for amplifying HiveMQ's story around Industrial AI and data intelligence across every earned media and social channel to build engagement, grow the community, and activate our brand in fresh and creative ways. This isn't a traditional PR role; it's an opportunity to shape how the world sees HiveMQ via organic growth, thought leadership, and AI-powered storytelling.

Reporting to the Director of Communications, you'll collaborate closely with the content, community, and larger marketing team to ensure HiveMQ's voice is present everywhere in the market.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow our presence across key platforms including YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, Discord, and Reddit, ensuring brand consistency, voice, and engagement. Develop and deliver compelling short-form content tailored to each platform, leveraging trends and best practices to maximize reach and resonance with target audiences.
• Utilize AI tools to streamline content ideation, creation, and scheduling, enhancing productivity and enabling data-driven optimization of messaging and formats.
• Oversee daily operations and campaigns through HubSpot Social or similar platforms, ensuring efficient scheduling, analytics tracking, and audience engagement.
• Cultivate and moderate online communities, fostering authentic dialogue, responding to inquiries, and building meaningful relationships with followers and fans.
• Collaborate with PR teams or lead outreach to secure earned media coverage, build relationships with key media outlets, and support external communications efforts.
