Unit Overview : The Colorectal Surgery and Urology Unit is designed to provide comprehensive post-surgical care in a comfortable setting with 22 semi-private rooms. Our dedicated team focuses on patients who have recently undergone colorectal or urologic procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement physician orders and care plans, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing necessary treatments and procedures.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and address patient conditions effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and assess patient needs, ensuring high standards of care and outcomes.
• Utilize sound nursing judgment to manage patient care decisions and promote optimal health.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to develop effective Plans of Care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Guide and mentor ancillary personnel while maintaining the professionalism and standards expected in nursing practice.
