As a member of the Advertising Trust's Policy & Integrity team, you'll work across Amazon's business lines to shape customer experience and long-term strategy for Amazon Advertising. Our team combines extensive online advertising experience with expertise in customer experience solutions, risk mitigation, and brand integrity. Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive policy sets, from conceptualization through implementation and monitoring
  • Deliver clear risk assessments and high-quality written presentations to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Create business requirement documents for product teams to ensure policy compliance
  • Foster collaborative relationships across Ad Trust Policy, Sales, Legal, PR, Public Policy, and other business units
  • Manage high-risk and high-impact escalations alongside moderation and support teams
  • Develop deep understanding of ad tech systems, particularly Amazon's infrastructure, to guide policy development

A Day in the Life

Policy Managers monitor policy effectiveness using various signals and handle escalated policy compliance questions. They develop expertise in locale-specific requirements and consider cultural norms in decision-making. The role involves building policy recommendations based on multi-vector risk assessment, collaborating with product teams on risk solutions, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders. They coordinate between Amazon teams to ensure consistency for advertisers and shoppers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in content moderation, ad tech, product policy, or advertising policy roles
  • Strong knowledge of current events affecting policy decisions
  • Proven experience working with PR, Legal, and Public Policy teams in high-pressure environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations
  • Track record of managing and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Capacity to make complex decisions with limited data
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's, JD, or MBA)
  • Experience managing large-scale policy initiatives
  • Strong background in metrics and data analysis
  • Expertise in digital advertising policy, compliance, or legal matters

    The base pay for this position ranges from $124,600 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,100 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
