Our client, a leading national title insurance and financial services company specializing in complex commercial real estate transactions , is seeking a Commercial Title Officer ( Junior Underwriter ) to support high-liability commercial transactions across multiple markets. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented commercial title professional to grow into an underwriting capacity while serving as the primary point of contact on active closings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a high email volume, and coordinate multiple parties to ensure timely and accurate closings.
Candidate Profile
JD from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record OR completion of a paralegal certificateBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; concentration in business , real estate , finance , or related field preferredActive Bar Admission in any US jurisdiction (for attorney candidates)
FL bar admission is preferred , but not required3+ years of substantive experience in commercial title , escrow / settlement , or commercial real estate transactionsAbility to independently manage title clearance and satisfy Schedule B-I requirementsExperience coordinating complex commercial transactions and serving as a primary deal contactStrong understanding of title insurance practices , escrow / settlement procedures , and real estate principlesFamiliarity with commercial survey review , objection letter response , and document collectionProven ability to manage high email and task volume with strong prioritization skillsHighly detail-oriented with ability to produce error-free work under deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills, including professional communication with attorneys, lenders, and commercial clientsProficiency in Excel and willingness to learn new technology platformsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-driven environmentMust be able to work in the office 3–4 days per week in Orlando or Tampa, FLWhat You’ll Do
Serve as primary point of contact for commercial title transactionsCoordinate with escrow, underwriters, counsel, lenders, and customers to satisfy closing requirementsClear title and fulfill Schedule B-I commitment requirementsReview surveys , title comments , objection letters , and underwriting requestsPrepare pro forma title policies , endorsements , affidavits , escrow agreements , and closing documentsPrepare quotes for title premiums and endorsementsAssist with closing coordination , document review, and delivery of closing instructionsMonitor, respond to, and organize high-volume communication throughout the transaction lifecycleMaintain transaction accuracy and ensure all requirements are satisfied prior to closingWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range : $75,000 – $125,000 , as determined by experience and qualificationsQuarterly bonus participation
