Job Title : Maintenance Technician – Food & Beverage Industry

Location : Denver, Colorado

Shift : All Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Pay Rate : $32–$40 / hour

Industrial Talent Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic and growing team in the Food & Beverage industry. This role involves working with state-of-the-art equipment in a fast-paced environment where quality and innovation drive success. We’re looking for skilled professionals to ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment, including mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, and processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and OSHA guidelines.
  • Assist with the installation, upgrade, and modification of equipment to support production goals.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of work performed, including parts used and equipment history.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Safely operate tools and machinery, including lathes, mills, welders, and diagnostic equipment, as needed.
  • Qualifications :
  • Education :
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical certification or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
  • Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, motor controls, and basic wiring.
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) and fabrication skills are a plus.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and refrigeration equipment is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Certifications :
  • Maintenance certifications (e.g., CMRT, Journeyman License) are a plus but not required.
