Schedule : Monday – Friday | 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Compensation : $38 – $45 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Core Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in core lab disciplines—including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis—along with proven leadership experience in a clinical laboratory setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise daily operations within the core laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely testing across all sections.

Oversee, train, and mentor laboratory staff to maintain a culture of quality, safety, and professional growth.

Monitor quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards.

Collaborate with management to develop and implement laboratory policies, procedures, and process improvements.

Maintain adequate inventory of reagents, supplies, and instrumentation to support uninterrupted workflow.

Participate in competency assessments, proficiency testing, and performance evaluations for laboratory personnel.

Assist with validation, correlation, and implementation of new instruments, assays, and methodologies.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and foster a collaborative and efficient team environment.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field required.

ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) required.

Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role preferred.

Strong working knowledge of core lab instrumentation and information systems (LIS).

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
