Instrument and Controls Designer

Requirements :

Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation

At Least 10 years of I&C Design Experience

Experience using AutoCAD and Revit

Understand Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI / ISA S5.1 symbology.

Understand analog, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshooting.

Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems.

Experience specifying instruments and creating ISA datasheets.

Experience reading and writing industrial SOO’s.

Preferred :

Pressure, temperature, flow, and level installation, calibration, and maintenance experience.

Industrial network experience.

Experience building industrial control panels.

Proficient in using Microsoft Suite including MS Word, Access, Outlook and Excel and project delivery and schedule management software tools.

Experience in Semi-conductor industrial or general industrial facilities.

Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design.

Responsibilities :

We're looking for a Senior Instrument and Controls Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us and you’ll have the chance to work on projects focused on designing state of the art structures within Advanced Facilities. Come be a part of a vibrant, dynamic team that delivers world class designs for well known clients around the world.

You’ll be accountable for developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI / ISA S5.1 symbology, and panel design including panel layout and I / O wiring diagrams, additionally you’ll specify control and / or monitoring devices and control valves including valve sizing calculations.

Working closely with client to developed new and edit existing site sequence of operation documents for a wide range of semiconductor equipment. Reviewing construction submittals and help answering RFI’s.

You’ll also manage demanding project schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate communication skills.

You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise mentoring junior team members to help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward.

Pay Rate : $43.80 / hr. - $76.63hr.

Term : Temp – (End date says 12 / 22 / 25 but will likely be longer) – Possibly TTD
