Job description

The Driver position will be responsible for loading trucks and making local deliveries. Drivers will have regular interaction with customers and vendors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform daily truck inspections.
  • Pull orders and load trucks for delivery.
  • Verify loads for accuracy and ensure they are properly secured for safe transport.
  • Deliver loads to building sites.
  • Assist customers in the yard and at delivery sites.
  • Accountable for all safety requirements of trucks and equipment used in the yard.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent standing and may involve walking varied distances and climbing stairs.
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Exposed to altered climate conditions when in warehouse or yard or on delivery sites.
