Medical Assistant - Clinic

Overview

Requirements

  • License : Not Applicable
  • Certs : BLS (AHA or ARC)
  • Experience : 2+ years
  • EMR : Epic
  • Compliance : Adult and Geriatric Population Experience
  • Locals : Preferred
  • RTO Policy : All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal

    • Responsibilities

  • Manage customer flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of patients.
  • Perform standard rooming processes, giving immunizations, injections, and other medications as directed by the provider.
  • Conduct laboratory specimen collection as needed.
  • Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
  • Assist with prescription refills and perform clinic laboratory tests.
  • Support front desk / check-in, ordering and stocking supplies, and assistance with prior authorizations.

  • Experience with taking vitals, EKGs, and procedure assists required.
