Family Medicine opportunity in Conway, SC Located 10 miles from Myrtle Beach 325,000 person population Position Details : Full-time, permanent position The Family Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care services. The physician will coordinate care with specialists as needed. Outpatient clinical role - no inpatient Standard office hours (Mon-Fri / 8am-5pm) Protected administrative time (4.5 days clinic time with .5-day admin time per week) 36 patient contact hours / 4 admin hours Call Schedule : Minimal, shared among all physicians on a 1 : 7 to 1 : 8 rotation Cerner EMR Dedicated nurse and shared medical assistant Patient Volume and Census : Average Patient Volume : 18-22 patients per day Patient Census : Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with some pediatric cases Demographics : A mix of rural and suburban patients, with common cases such as hypertension, diabetes, and routine wellness checks, etc. Visit Types : Visit Types : Sick visits, follow-ups for chronic conditions, annual physical exams, and acute care visits, etc. Typical Procedures : In-office procedures include minor dermatologic procedures, joint injections, skin biopsies, routine vaccinations, and womens health screenings.
