As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Coverage in Lewiston Woodville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will support a positive experience for everyone on site. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide outstanding customer service, and use technology as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site-specific concerns.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner as directed by site procedures.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
