Job Description

Join our team as a General Maintenance Technician where you will perform a variety of tasks to maintain and improve the condition of our trailers. This role involves hands-on work, using various tools and equipment to ensure our units are up to standard before they are sent back out to construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Tear out drywall and replace it according to the layout needed for the next job site.
• Utilize basic hand and power tools on the job.
• Use a spray gun to paint the interior and exterior of trailers.
• Remove old flooring and install laminate or tile flooring based on customer needs.
• Document completed tasks using a paper method system.
• Operate a forklift to move or lift items around the yard when necessary.
• Assist in cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller shop environment with 15 technicians where units are repaired and prepared for construction sites. The standard shift is Monday to Friday from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with additional hours in the spring and summer due to increased workloads.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
