Our client, based in the Grayslake area, is a precision machining and fabrication company that has been in business for several decades. With a growing customer base, they are looking to bring on a Quality Manager to help them level up their QMS, continuous improvement initiatives, and more to maintain product, process and customer quality!

Job Description

Perform and lead internal / external audits for ISO9001

Manage customer complaints and corrective actions

Prospect, evaluate, and manage suppliers and subsequent SCARs

Manage and level up the QMS with process and document control

MRB leadership

Lead all testing and inspection activity

Drive critical decisions through data and SPC

The Successful Applicant

Bachelors degree strongly preferred

Minimum 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing quality

Experience with metal fabrication and machining

Certified Auditor for ISO9001 a plus, AS9100 also preferred

Experience with being fully accountable for a QMS

Ability to manage and develop relationships with suppliers and customers
