Supervises: Suite Attendants, Suite Runners, Bartenders, Barback, Buffet Cashier, Caterers

FLAS Status: PT Hourly/Non Exempt

Pay Rate: $25.00 hourly

SUMMARY:

ASM Global and Savor, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Banquet Captain at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent. This position is responsible for assisting the Food & Beverage Directors with the operation of the Front of House catering functions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES:

• Supports Food & Beverage Directors all activities surrounding guest functions to comply with function contracts and accesso ShoWare Center standards.
• Trains new employees accesso ShoWare Center process and procedures.
• Supervisors Front of House catering staff. Provides direction and support where needed.
• Ensures a clean and safe working environment.
• Effectively handling guest concerns as they arise.
• Responsible for accurate billing and close out procedure at the end of assigned functions.
• Confidently anticipating and responding to needs and expectations of our guests.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a banquet setting required. Arena experience preferred.
• Computer and POS system proficient.
• Flexible schedule for AM & PM shifts including weekends.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a Team oriented environment.
• Able to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass background and credit check.
