About This Role

A Superintendent at Irby Construction Company shall possess a minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of Transmission construction experience. The individual will possess all of the skills required for assignment as a superintendent for any craft within his / her area of responsibility. Such an employee shall also have in depth knowledge of all applicable OSHA codes and standards. Must be able to direct multiple crews.

What You'll Do

• Attend pre-construction meeting with PM / Estimator.
• Provide technical assistance, interpretation of drawings, recommend construction methods and equipment etc. as required.
• Review bid packages for accuracy, completeness, and overall electrical scope of work.
• Assist in instituting construction plans
• Organize crews & assign foreman to job task
• Generate list of required personnel & equipment.
• Generate initial list of required tooling.
• Arrange for personnel & equipment transfers to project.
