• Work in 21-bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) on 4th floor of Atrium building
• Patient ratios : 4 : 1 (maximum 5 patients)
• Day shift staffing : 6 RNs, 2 techs, 1 secretary
• Night shift staffing : 6 RNs, 1-2 techs
• Required certifications : ACLS and BLS
• Must have drip titration skills for Diltiazem, Nitro, and Heparin
• Basic rhythm recognition required
• Equipment used : bedside monitors, EKG, bladder scanner, lab draws
• EMR system : MediTech
• Typical procedures : lab draws, EKG, bladder scanning, bedside thoracentesis / paracentesis, blood product administration, straight cath, Foley insertion / removal / care including CBI, central line care and removal, BiPap and High Flow O2
• Float to Med / Surg Telemetry as needed
• Every other weekend required
• Dress code : All navy scrubs
• Must be energetic, hardworking, easy going, friendly team player
