Painter (Fort Drum Mountain Community Homes)

WinnCompanies is searching for a Painter to join our military housing team at Fort Drum, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for painting homes, primarily interiors. You will also complete other site responsibilities and projects as assigned. Please note that the pay range for this position is $19.00 to $19.51 per hour. Final salary will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors. Additionally, this position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver's license / ID is required in order to access the federal facility.

Responsibilities

• Paint both the exterior and interior of homes, common areas, and community offices and buildings.
• Perform all painting in accordance with schedule issued by management.
• Apply texture to ceilings and walls using an air texture applicator and hopper.
• Ensure proper protection of unpainted surfaces through the use of drop cloths, tarps, tape, masking, and paint shields.
• Maintain a vehicle inventory or paint equipment and supplies.
• Maintain all equipment in as clean and neat a condition as possible.
• Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings as the position requires.
