Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting on a MedSurg / Tele Float Pool Float between PCU, two Med / Tele units, ER, L&D, Behavioral Health, and ICU (for MS overflow only) 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour work week Cares for adult and pediatric medical-surgical and telemetry patients Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 5 days, 1 : 6 nights, and 1 : 4 peds, depending on acuity Allscripts Sunrise EMR system is used Support staff includes tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, and PCTs Hospitalist, respiratory therapist, and pharmacy coverage are available 24 / 7 Nurse managers conduct rounds but do not provide direct patient care No IV team is present on site Any color scrubs may be worn, but scrubs are not provided COVID-19 vaccination is preferred; religious exemptions will be considered Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience Certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS Experience with Allscripts Sunrise EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620943.
