About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Must hold valid state licensure

Certifications : BLS, Chemo Certification (ONS / ONCC)

Must-Have :

Chemo certification required

Previous charge experience preferred

Patient ratio experience : 5 : 1

Description :

This position is for an oncology unit.

A chemo certification is required.

The shift is nights, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

Every other weekend is required.

Fifty percent of holidays incurred during the contract must be worked.

The typical patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

The daily census in the unit is around 30 patients.

Staff will provide support from interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.

Floating to other areas may be required.

All staff may be expected to float to other units as patient observers.

Floating may include critical care and medical-surgical units and pediatrics.

Modules for training will be recorded by onsite management during orientation and annually.

Two references from a charge nurse or above are required.

Fifty percent of weekends and holidays on contract are required to be worked.

All travelers are expected to comply with floating policies.
