About the Institutional Portfolio Management (IPM) Department

The IPM department is part of the CFO org and is responsible for driving strategic execution and transformation across the WGU System. We manage portfolios of enterprise initiatives that align with WGU's 5-Year Strategic Plan-connecting strategy to action. Our work enables leaders to execute bold, system-wide change by :

The Role : Lead Business Process Engineer

The Lead Business Process Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, and implementing institutional business processes optimized to support growth, service levels, and cost performance across WGU's schools and shared services. You'll lead the largest and most important strategic transformation projects, working closely with senior leadership, business unit heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with WGU's strategic goals.

This is a high-impact, visible role focused on technical excellence, people management, and organizational change. You'll guide teams through process transformation initiatives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and drive adoption of innovative solutions.

Position & Application Details
