Logistics Supervisor

Job Description

A global leader in defense safety systems is seeking an experienced Logistics Supervisor to oversee cross-dock operations within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on logistics experience, and a working knowledge of automotive ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Supervise daily cross-dock and logistics operations to meet supplier and customer requirements.

Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure productivity, safety, and process compliance.

Oversee inbound and outbound coordination supporting multiple manufacturing plants.

Maintain communication between management, team members, and external partners.

Ensure proper resource allocation and maintain operational efficiency.

Monitor workflow, set priorities, and resolve day-to-day issues to achieve facility goals.

Support management in performance evaluations, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Participate in budget planning and quarterly performance updates.

Qualifications :

Extensive logistics or warehouse experience required.

1–3 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations.

Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office .

Understanding of cross-dock operations , trucking logistics, and material handling.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
