Position Overview:
The Single Point of Contact is responsible for ensuring the best execution on every asset in their assigned investor's portfolio.
Working Relationships:
The Single Point of Contact reports to the SPOC Supervisor; must develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders, investors, co-workers, and customers.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Aggressively pursue workout solutions that provide maximum value for investors and borrowers via the following:
- Owning all 90+ delinquent loans and contacting borrowers to pursue workout options
- Collecting and gathering all paperwork needed to decision the workout option in a timely manner
- Calculating and Negotiating workout terms with the borrower, finding the best execution to preserve value
- Setting up files in the Loss Mitigation workstation quickly and accurately
- Monitoring and performing frequent follow-up with borrowers on trial modifications to ensure conversion
- Exceeding established minimum production requirements for workouts
- Review financial packages from customers and determine best resolution for investor and mortgagor, based on appropriate investor guidelines
- Order and review title reports
- Order and review credit reports and broker’s price opinions
- Prepare pertinent documentation to facilitate resolution with customer
- Credit counseling
- 1099 year end reporting
- Incumbent will be responsible for meeting RoundPoint’s commitment to compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- 3 -5 years experience in loss mitigation or origination of mortgage loans
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Problem solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Fidelity LPS experience preferred
- Strong sense of urgency about solving problems, meeting challenging deadlines, and achieving goals
