ER RN Job Details - Pennsylvania Travel Nursing Opportunity Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Travel Contract Location : Du Bois, Pennsylvania 15801 Healthcare Setting : Level II Trauma Center, Emergency Department Contract Type : Travel Nursing Assignment Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Assignment Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Shifts : Rotating 12-hour shifts (07 : 00-19 : 30, 11 : 00-23 : 30, 19 : 00-07 : 30); every other weekend required Patient Ratios : 1 : 5 Charting System : Cerner EMR Orientation : 36 hours Estimated Weekly Salary : $1910-$1960 ER RN Qualifications & Requirements Active PA or compact state Registered Nurse license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI TNCC certification preferred Experience in Trauma Level I or II hospital preferred Community hospital nursing experience required Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and Childline process promptly Must complete lab work within 72 hours of contract signing Key Responsibilities - Emergency Room Registered Nurse Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages (neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) Perform triage, assessment, and stabilization of trauma and medical emergencies Administer emergency medications and manage acute conditions (STEMI, stroke, seizures, respiratory distress, multisystem organ failure) Utilize advanced clinical skills : IV insertion, central line care, chest tube management, intubation, procedural sedation Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response) Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) Participate in rotating shifts and provide weekend coverage as scheduled Adhere to infection control, isolation precautions, and hospital policies Take the next step in your ER nursing career with this rewarding travel nurse job in Du Bois, Pennsylvania.
