Southern Acres is a fast-growing land development company based out of Charleston, SC but focused on bringing residential developments to growing markets from I-95 to the coast in both Carolinas. We utilize an AI-assisted workflow to identify target parcels and take pride in transforming raw land into thriving communities.

Job Description

We’re looking for a full-time Charleston-based Land Acquisitions Specialist to build relationships with landowners of pre-targeted parcels and then pitch our development offer to turn their land into a residential neighborhood and a massive payday for their family. You’ll be trained to analyze opportunities, then to build rapport and negotiate with landowners to put new parcels under contract. From there, you will manage the relationship and collaborate with our development team throughout the due diligence process, entitlement, and closing.

No land acquisition background? No problem. If you’ve got the mindset and determination, we’ll train you in our proven process. Sales experience is valuable.

Compensation is a negotiable monthly draw to cover your basic needs while you build your pipeline. Acquisitions earn a large commission on the net profit of each deal. $50-200k commissions per project are expected on projects that take 9-18 months. There are opportunities for smaller faster deals but the exciting ones take time and can be transformative.
