The Fredericksburg VA Health Care Center is seeking to hire an SCI / D Physician to join our dynamic and dedicated team. Our Spinal Cord Injury / Disorders (SCI / D) Service is looking for a physician (MD or DO) trained in Spinal Cord Medicine or with experience in caring for patients with spinal cord injury or disorders, as well as Physiatry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage a patient panel, utilizing telemedicine to deliver comprehensive services (experience with adaptive sports is a plus).
• Provide a full range of services, including assessment and care for patients with acute and chronic Spinal Cord Injuries or Disorders (SCI / D).
• Perform procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections, joint injections (shoulder and knee), and Botox treatments.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities to maintain high standards of patient care and outcomes, aligned with the goals of the SCI / D Care Line.
