Job Summary :

Join our growing team at Bishop Lifting! We are seeking an experienced and strategic FP&A Data Analyst responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making. This role blends core data analytics expertise with financial acumen to support business leaders in achieving operational and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a trusted business partner to senior leadership, combining technical financial expertise with strategic thinking to optimize financial performance and drive organizational success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Collection : Gather raw data from internal databases, ERPs, and third-party sources to support financial analysis.
  • Data Cleaning & Preprocessing : Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing values to ensure data integrity. Ensure consistency and accuracy across financial systems and proactively troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Data Analysis : Apply analytical techniques to interpret datasets, focusing on trends that impact financial and operational decisions.
  • Reporting & Visualization : Create dashboards, charts, and reports using Power BI and communicate insights clearly.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored, data-driven recommendations.
  • Automation : Automate recurring reports and build scalable frameworks for spend tracking, headcount planning, and resource allocation.
  • Database Management : Design and maintain data systems for efficient retrieval and performance optimization.
  • Problem-Solving : Use a logical, analytical mindset to address business challenges and uncover opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualifications :

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience :

  • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, analysis, or a similar role
  • Proven experience providing financial, strategic, and business operations support to senior business leaders
  • Accounting experience a plus
  • Technical Skills :

  • SQL : Strong proficiency for querying and managing databases
  • Power BI : Advanced knowledge and experience creating interactive dashboards and visualizations
  • Excel : Advanced skills including pivot tables, nested formulas, and error-proof logic
  • Database Technologies : Familiarity with data warehousing and ERP systems

  • Salary : Up to $125k
  • Bonus : 10% of base salary
  • PTO : 2-3 weeks
