Salary range :

The salary range for this position is $121,900-$142,300. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan [https : / / ucop.edu / academic-personnel-programs / _files / apm / apm-670.pdf ], which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Adjunct Professor. The candidate is expected to conduct research related to lung biology and disease, with a focus on lung injury. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in immunology including preclinical models, ex vivo models, imaging, and cell / molecular biology with the goal of developing novel therapeutics for targeting locally active proteins in the lung. The candidate will be expected to publish in peer-reviewed journals, facilitate the development and sustenance of a program through continued extramural funding, and participate in the training of students and post-doctoral fellows.

A Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent is required.

A Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent is required.

Additional qualifications

The candidate must have experience in independently developing and executing preclinical and ex vivo models of lung disease, as documented by prior publications and / or grant funding.
