A respected and growing General Contractor specializing in federal and military construction is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager to join their team. This is a traveling position that offers nationwide project experience, a competitive per diem and travel package , and the backing of a company known for integrity, consistency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage all phases of federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Oversee budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance to ensure project delivery meets contract requirements.
Ensure full compliance with USACE / NAVFAC standards and federal contract specifications.
Coordinate with Quality Control, Safety, and Field Operations to maintain project excellence.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Contracting Officers, CORs, and government representatives.
Lead project meetings, monitor progress, and proactively resolve issues that impact scope, cost, or schedule.
Qualifications :
5+ years of project management experience in federal or military construction.
Strong understanding of USACE / NAVFAC standards and the three-phase inspection process.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects from start to finish.
CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) certification preferred.
OSHA 30 required or ability to obtain.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
