Mailroom Associate - Part Time - 7am to 11am

Sonova US is seeking a Mailroom Associate at our Aurora Operations Distribution Center in Aurora, IL. This is an opportunity to begin a career with a fast growing, innovative company focused on improving lives of all ages around the world with hearing devices. Sonova is the third largest manufacturer in Aurora and has been in the community for over 40 years. Responsibilities :

• Open, sort, and forward incoming packages
• Process incoming and outgoing items
• Receive packages from USPS
• Coordinate shipping with national carriers
• Process requests for all department labels
• Pick up items from Order Entry department and deliver to other areas of the facility

Experience :

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• 1-2 years of

Skills & Competencies :

• Proficient in English
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to stand / walk for an hour per day and sit for up to 7 hours per day
• Strong manual dexterity for use of small hand tools and repetitive motions using both hands
• Required to use a box cutter continuously for 4 hours
• Excellent vision to read small font
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Meet personal and team efficiency goals
• Flexibility to various positions as business needs require

A minimum of 200Mb / sec download and 10Mb / sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote / hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between : $14.00 - $15.00 an hour
