Real Estate Attorney

Job Description

A full-service law firm is seeking an establish Real Estate Attorney to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and development agreements
• Advise on title and survey matters and coordinate due diligence reviews
• Work with lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans
• Support complex entity structuring and joint venture transactions
• Collaborate with team members across practice areas to deliver strategic and efficient solutions

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
• 4-7 years of commercial real estate experience, ideally gained in a law firm or sophisticated in-house setting
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating key real estate transaction documents
• Experience handling title and survey review, closings, and financing documentation
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clients
