Work Cell Assembler - Small Lights - AM shift

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Works from blueprints, schedules, shop orders, specification sheets, process instructions and test
• Reviews production schedules for specific periods and arranges for parts, materials, supplies, tooling, gauges and other equipment to meet production
• Requisitions and stores
• Passes Kan Ban cards to producing departments per defined
• Accumulates and moves items between storage areas and work
• Fills out and submits requisitions, move tickets, finished goods tickets and scrap tickets.
• Selects, verifies and identifies quantity of materials. Records and / or calls attention to shortages, possible rejected or damaged
• Sets up work cell
• Makes necessary adjustments of tools, gauges and equipment. Makes operational checks as required. Monitors work visually to maintain quality standards and notifies supervisor of nonconformance and / or operating
• Performs preventative maintenance (cleaning, oiling, inspecting and minor adjustments) on equipment in the work
• Trains new and existing employees how to effectively work within the department, instructs them in all facets of the work cell
• Follows safety rules and keeps work cell area in a clean and orderly
• Uses computer to check the status of a customer's order and the status of a shop
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Wage Range - $18.32 - $22.14
