A company is looking for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical strategy and oversight of its investment portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership across the fund's portfolio, including digital health and telemedicine companies
Evaluate investment opportunities for clinical validity, patient impact, and scalability
Conduct clinical due diligence on prospective investments, including care models, outcomes, and medical assumptions
Qualifications
Board-certified physician with 5+ years of clinical experience
Experience in digital health, healthcare startups, or healthcare investing strongly preferred
Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, clinical operations, and care delivery models
Ability to assess both clinical rigor and business viability of healthcare innovations
Experience working with founders, executives, or investors is a plus
