Overview : The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to help advance our strategic application landscape. This role builds on prior foundational work across three critical focus areas : 1) Delivering expert solution architecture services to support complex business initiatives. 2) Operating within a maturing architecture practice, with an understanding of current organizational capabilities and needs. 3) Executing against a forward-looking roadmap that guides the evolution of solution architecture across the enterprise. Job Function : The Solution Architect is a strategic role within the organization, responsible for designing technology solutions that meet complex business requirements while adhering to enterprise architecture best practices. The Solution Architect has experience with multiple technologies and utilizes this broad experience to identify and design the appropriate solution to meet the business requirements. The Solution Architect will evaluate and research emerging technologies for applicability and use to address future business needs. A strong grasp of software architecture, development methodologies, and the ability to design solutions that align with business goals is essential. Job Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solution Development : Design and implement scalable, secure, robust technology solutions that meet business needs.
- Architectural Design : Develop and maintain blueprints aligning with TOGAF standards and best practices.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle. Participates in hiring and evaluating technical talent. Drives the adoption of DevSecOps practices and culture within the organization.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and design specifications.
- Compliance and Standards : Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve our architectural practices continuously. Create proof of concepts or prototypes to validate new / emerging technologies or architectural approaches. Assess new technology fit within the existing environment. Promotes culture of continuous improvement in both development and operations.

Job Requirements
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required. Advanced degree preferred.Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Solution Architect role or similar position. Experience with enterprise architecture tools and methodologies (preferred). Knowledge of security standards and best practices (preferred). Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies (preferred).Certifications : TOGAF certification is required. Additional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) are highly desirable.Technical Skills : Proficiency in architectural frameworks, cloud computing, DevOps practices, and software development methodologies.Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze complex systems and processes.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership : Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale projects.Estimated Travel RequiredThis position will be based out of the national office in Indianapolis, Indiana.
