Position Overview : Term : 3+ Month

Location : New York, NY 10013

Pay : $25.00 - $30.00; commensurate with experience

Hours : 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. This mid-level role is responsible for providing Tier II technical support and managing Audio-Visual (AV) systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience supporting both end-user hardware and AV environments.

What you’ll do as the Desktop Support Technician :

Provide Tier II support for hardware, software, and network-related issues escalated from Tier I.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AV systems, including conference room setups, projectors, digital signage, and video conferencing tools.

Respond to service requests and incidents via ticketing system, phone, and email.

Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT knowledge base.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely resolution of technical problems.

Assist in the setup and support of meetings, presentations, and events requiring AV equipment.

Maintain inventory of AV and IT support equipment.

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and recovery.

What you will bring to the team :

2–4 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on Tier II troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with AV systems (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Teams, POM, Crestron).

Familiarity with Windows and macOS environments.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Desired Skills :

365 End-Point User Experience.

AV certification or training is a plus.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals and remote support tools.
