Cyclyx International, LLC ("Cyclyx") is a pioneer in the plastic value chain, leveraging our proprietary technology to convert post-use plastic waste into high-quality feedstock for recycling. Our state-of-the-art Circularity Center, currently under construction in Houston, TX, will be the first large-scale facility in the United States, designed to process a diverse range of post-consumer, commercial, and industrial plastic waste. This innovative center will have the capacity to produce 300 million pounds of custom-formulated feedstock per year and convert it into ISCC-PLUS-certified feedstock suitable for mechanical and advanced recycling applications.

Role Overview

Cyclyx is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to lead HR strategy and execution for a new, state-of-the-art facility currently under construction. This role will be a critical partner to plant leadership, responsible for planning and executing all HR functions-from initial staffing and safety compliance to long-term labor oversight, employee relations, and cultural development. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in building the workforce from the ground up, establishing a high-performance culture, and ensuring alignment with operational goals and safety standards. This role will also work closely with our small corporate HR team to ensure consistency, compliance, and alignment with company-wide HR strategies and policies.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Startup & Staffing Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive staffing plan for a new facility, including phased hiring aligned with construction and operational milestones
• Partner with leadership and project teams to forecast labor needs and define organizational structure
• Build recruitment pipelines and community partnerships to support large-scale hiring and workforce readiness
• Design and implement onboarding, orientation, and training programs tailored to startup operations

Qualifications

Position Mechanics

Reports to : Vice President, Human Resources

Type : Exempt; Full-time

Work Hours : Flexible, but must be available, 8 : 00-5 : 00, Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend work.

Location : Houston, TX

Work environment : Primarily an office environment, but may also work in an industrial environment at times where the use of PPE is required.

Travel : Minimal - Less than 10% as needed to meet with members and attend off-site meetings

Physical Demand is substantially that of an office environment. Occasional lifting and manual work.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status.
