A skilled Registered Nurse with telemetry experience is needed for a contract position in Oak Ridge, TN. This opportunity involves providing high-quality nursing care on a telemetry unit, utilizing critical thinking and clinical skills to support patient monitoring and treatment plans. Candidates must be prepared to float as needed and work within a team nursing model where applicable.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment, assessing and responding to changes in condition\n
• Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care\n
• Maintain accurate patient records using Cerner EMR and Omnicell medication system\n
• Comply with hospital policies and maintain patient safety and confidentiality\n
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required\n\nDesired Qualifications : \n
• Current RN license with telemetry nursing experience\n
• Ability to pass EKG competency testing prior to assignment start\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS-AHA) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred\n
• Comfortable working with patient ratios averaging 1 : 7-8 under a team nursing model\n
