This is an outstanding career opportunity for the right Registered Nurse to direct clinical operations for Interim HealthCare of Central Montana , a home health care agency serving Helena, Great Falls, Butte, Havre, Cut Bank, Lincoln and surrounding areas!

Central to our mission is working with the VA to serve Montana’s veterans, and outreaching into rural areas not presently serviced by other home health care agencies. As the Director of Healthcare Services, you'll play a key role in that mission as part of the core senior leadership team with the support of a world-class organization whose founders and leaders know what it takes to deliver exceptional care, because many of them have.

Key Responsibilities, Goals and Objectives - As the Director of Healthcare Services, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do :

  • Oversee the delivery of clinical and caregiver services, ensuring the highest quality of patient care in accordance with home health laws and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and manage a team of nurses, therapists, CNAs, aides and social workers to ensure patient goals are met
  • Conduct in-home assessments for new patients
  • Develop and maintain care plans for all patients
  • Oversee all clinical and quality programs, ensure clinical compliance of all caregivers
  • Recruit, hire, orient, train, supervise and retain qualified clinicians and caregivers
  • Ensure medical supplies / equipment are delivered and staff are trained on care procedures
  • Assess patient / client needs, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction
  • Effectively manage financial resources related to the delivery of quality patient / client care
  • Work closely with the owner / CEO to ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Requirements / Qualifications - A few must-haves for a Director of Healthcare Services :

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN or BSN license in MT
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in home healthcare
  • At least 5 years of supervisory and caregiver management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal home health laws and regulatory standards
  • Excellent management, organizational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team focus - willingness roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary for the good of the team
  • Knowledge of local healthcare delivery systems and / or Dept. of Veterans Affairs healthcare system is strongly preferred
  • Sound business acumen - masters degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred
