Overview :
We are seeking a compassionate, attentive, and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for infants and a strong understanding of early developmental milestones. This role requires someone who is committed to creating a safe, loving, and stimulating environment where babies can thrive emotionally, physically, and cognitively.
Responsibilities :
- Provide responsive and individualized care for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
 - Create and maintain a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment that promotes development through age-appropriate activities and interactions.
 - Follow each child’s individual schedule for feeding, diapering, and napping.
 - Foster trusting relationships with children and families through daily communication and regular updates.
 - Maintain accurate records including attendance, feeding, diapering logs, and developmental observations.
 - Collaborate with co-teachers and center staff to implement curriculum and daily routines.
 - Sanitize toys, equipment, and surfaces regularly in compliance with health and safety regulations.
 - Ensure licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies are followed at all times.
 - Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
 - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, needs, and milestones.
 - Support transitions between classroom activities and routines with patience and predictability.
 
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting strongly preferred.Must meet state licensing requirements for infant teachers (e.g., CPR / First Aid certification, background checks, etc.).Strong knowledge of infant development and best practices in early care and education.Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, sit on the floor, and be active throughout the day.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Reliable, flexible, and committed to fostering a caring learning environment.Work Environment :
Classroom setting with regular exposure to noise, cleaning products, and diapering situations.Requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and engaging in play and movement activities with infants.Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
