Avionics Technician

As an Avionics Technician IV, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform avionics maintenance according to FCC, FAA and company policies and regulations. You'll be responsible for moderately complex installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of avionics components, and maintenance of test equipment, tools, and manuals.

Responsibilities & Experience of the Avionics Technician :

• Must have own tools in good working order.
• Ability to understand and interpret moderately complex, technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals, and / or publications; ability to route wires per technical drawings.
• Advanced skills with moderately complex avionics installation tooling, wiring, wiring repair, wiring installation, soldering' and crimping techniques.
• Preferred : Familiarity with FCC and FCC GROL.
• Ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
• Basic understanding of spectrometer, Oscilloscope and / or Pitot static equipment.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required.
