Responsibilities and Duties
Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care clinic settingEvaluate, diagnose, and treat a full spectrum of urgent care cases for patients of all agesPerform procedures including suturing and splintingManage patient flow to accommodate variable daily volumesMaintain accurate and timely documentationEnsure high standards of patient care and safetyAdhere to clinic protocols and regulatory requirementsAdditional Information
Current or recent experience in urgent care requiredMust be comfortable working independently as the only providerExperience with suturing and splinting requiredAbility to see all age groupsMust have a Washington state licenseClean background requiredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredFamily Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) and Urgent Care board certifications requiredExperience handling 20-30 patients per day preferred6-month assignment ideal; minimum 4-month commitment consideredBenefits
