Base pay range

$20.40 / hr - $30.60 / hr

Major Responsibilities

• Performs reagent preparation and quality control, including measuring, mixing, calculating, completing documentation and data collection / entry according to policies and procedures.
• Processes and ships biospecimens according to protocol.
• Collaborates with other departments to obtain appropriate information and / or research and biological specimens as appropriate.
• Orders, receives, stocks supplies; maintains appropriate inventory of commonly used chemicals, solutions, supplies; removes outdated materials as appropriate.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on equipment to ensure instruments proper function.
• Washes, sterilizes, decontaminates laboratory equipment and facilities.
• Assists with performance of experimental procedures and basic biological / chemical assays, data analysis, literature searches, preparation of standard operating procedures and reports as needed.
