A company is looking for an Associate Medical Director to oversee medical coordination and support clinical activities within the health plan network.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee medical coordination for effective utilization and quality management of the health plan network

Participate in the development of medical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Analyze data to evaluate healthcare provider performance and monitor utilization management practices

Required Qualifications

Completion of an ACGME or AMA approved residency in a relevant specialty

Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related discipline preferred

At least five years of clinical practice experience in a relevant specialty

Current medical license in the State of Texas and compliance with managed care medical director requirements

Board certification in the relevant specialty preferred
