Job descriptionDiagnose a wide range of skin diseases, cancers, infections, and genetic disorders. Perform microscopic examinations to identify abnormal cell structures and tissue changes. Provide clear, detailed pathology reports with diagnostic findings and next steps. Stay current with advances in pathology through research and continuing education. Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance programs. Utilize molecular diagnostics, immunohistochemistry, and digital pathology tools. Ensure patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and maintain ethical standards. Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Residency in Pathology; board certification in Anatomic Pathology, Clinical Pathology, or both. Fellowship training in Dermatopathology (preferred). Valid Florida medical license. Experience with molecular diagnostics (NGS, PCR-based assays). Strong background in microscopy and diagnostic techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with digital pathology tools and lab information systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex cases.
