About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in cath lab

License : Current nursing license

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, CPR required

Must-Have :

• Pediatric cath lab experience
• Experience with Epic and GE Mac Lab
• Prefer Claris experience for EP but will consider if not available

Description :

RN with a minimum of 2 years cath lab experience.

Must have experience in pediatric cath.

Prefer some electrophysiology (EP) experience but can consider if none available.

Will be required to circulate.

Options to monitor and scrub depending on skill set.

Low-volume unit with approximately 140 cases per year.

Call requirements vary and will start with 2 shifts per week, gradually increasing over time depending on lab needs.

Experience with 12 Lead EKG, activated clotting time (ACT), and arrhythmia induction is preferred.

Candidates should be skilled in pediatric diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures.

Position may require procedures such as cardiac ablation, electrophysiology, and procedural sedation administration.

Candidates will be expected to perform baseline measurements, infection prevention, and management of dysrhythmias.

Special equipment experience is preferred, including Siemens equipment and EnSite mapping systems.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support from various departments.

Experience with patient populations ranging from neonates to adolescents is necessary.
