Corrugated Press Assistant Operator — Navarre, OH 44662
Picture your morning starting at 6 : 00 AM. You walk the line, verify measurements, stage materials, and help dial in machine setups so production launches on time. Throughout the shift you keep a sharp eye on product quality, respond quickly to equipment hiccups, and partner with operators to keep orders moving. By 2 : 30 PM, you’ve helped deliver a smooth, efficient run.
What you’ll do
- Assist with setting up and running production equipment, including corrugated presses, gluing and folding machines, strappers, band saws, and a slitter.
- Uphold quality specifications for packaging materials from first piece to final pack-out.
- Support rapid, accurate changeovers to keep schedules on track.
- Work closely with teammates to improve processes and throughput.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them quickly to minimize downtime.
