Position Description : Associate / Discipleship Preacher Job Description

The Associate / Discipleship Preacher will be primarily responsible for

developing and overseeing comprehensive discipleship programs within

the Church, equipping members of all ages to deepen their faith

through Bible study, mentorship, and intentional spiritual growth

initiatives, while collaborating with other staff to foster a culture

of discipleship throughout the congregation; this role may include

teaching, leading small groups, and providing visitation as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Discipleship Strategy Development :

Design and implement a strategic plan to cultivate discipleship across

all life stages within the Church, including new believer

assimilation, ongoing Bible study programs, leadership development,

and mentorship opportunities.

Teaching and Facilitation :

Lead various Bible studies and discipleship classes, tailoring content

to different demographics and spiritual maturity levels.

Collaboration :

Work closely with the Preacher & Elders, to integrate discipleship

initiatives into overall Church programming and vision.

Assessment and Evaluation :

Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of discipleship

programs, making adjustments as needed to optimize impact.

Qualifications :

Strong Theological Foundation :

Deep understanding of Biblical teachings and the ability to articulate

a clear vision for Christian discipleship. A strong understanding of

and commitment to biblical principles and practices.

Passion for Spiritual Growth :

Demonstrated commitment to personal spiritual development and a desire

to equip others to grow in their faith.

Leadership Skills :

Proven ability to lead and motivate individuals, teams, and groups.

Excellent Communication Skills :

Effective verbal and written communication skills to teach and preach.

Interpersonal Skills :

Ability to build relationships and foster a sense of community.

Organizational Skills :

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work

effectively within a budget.

Education :

A 4-year degree from an accredited Christian University is preferred.
