American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery night shift position requiring recent L&D experience and an active or pending Oregon license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit with high-risk and high-census patientsNight shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (19 : 00–07 : 00)Expected patient ratios are 1 : 1 for labor and 1 : 3 for postpartumStaff may float between units or to nearby affiliate hospitals based on facility needsOn-call required for one low census shift per pay periodWeekends required every other or every third weekendUses Epic for charting and documentationRNs may be asked to float to sister facilities within the region as neededRefusal to float may result in contract terminationMust complete pre-assignment and annual training modulesScrubs in any color are allowed; facility-provided for maternal child staffNo parking fee for staffTime off requests are limited and must be submitted with initial applicationMust commit to working at least 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contractHotel and mileage reimbursement provided for required floating to the Seaside facilityFirst-time travelers may be considered if they meet the unit experience requirements\n \n Requirements\n
Active or pending Oregon RN license requiredAt least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, or 1–1.5 years with high-risk / high-census experienceEpic charting experience requiredMust have a vehicle for travel between possible float locationsMust provide two supervisory references covering one year within the last three yearsMust reside more than 50 miles from the facilityFormer permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler\n Benefits\n
