Job Description

Required Qualifications :

  • High School Degree / GED or equivalent required.
  • Preferred Education :

  • Associate of Arts / Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Required Qualifications :

  • 2 years comparable experience (with an associate's degree).
  • Certificate of Completion from a Technical Trade Schoolyears in process of attaining and / or Advanced Military technical school, plus four (4) year’s comparable work experience (with high school)
  • Experience with high voltage testing is a major plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and oral, in English.
  • Good computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to use basic electronic test and measurement equipment, such as CLIENT, Digital Power meter, oscilloscopes in mid-level, and to correctly interpret the results.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools (open wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and wire cutters).
  • Job Responsibilities :

  • Set up UPS (uninterruptible power supply)
  • Perform product testing and operation of product.
  • Be able to operate switchgears, switchboards, and load banks.
  • Be able to open and close AC / DC circuit breakers.
  • Customer interacting during FAT.
  • Ensure all other assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner.
  • Assist Test Engineer on a day-to-day task.
  • Provide backup for Test Engineer as needed.
  • Perform work related and in support to continuous improvement activities.
  • Other duties as needed
  • Detailed UPS set up, testing units, troubleshooting, and interacting with customers during FAT.
  • Will work under the direction of the Manufacturing & Test Manager and collaborate with other Test Technicians to ensure standards are met.
