Position : Maintenance Technician

Location : Cherryville, NC

Shift : 1st Shift (6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM)

Pay Rate : $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Overview :

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment within our plant to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities :

Perform maintenance and repairs on various equipment, including Hirsh Presses and Kurtz Presses.

Take hydraulic readings for Kurtz Press using form #M-032.

Maintain and repair Hirsh Expanders, EPS Grinders, and other plant machinery.

Conduct Preventive Maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and efficiency.

Oversee Boiler Operations, including chemical management.

Manage the Boiler Room Maintenance daily schedule using form #M-026.

Monitor and maintain the Cooling Tower System, ensuring proper chemical levels.

Regularly monitor utility readings and maintain logs using form #M-027.

Manage inventory of supplies and ensure adequate stock levels for maintenance operations.

Perform general plant maintenance duties as required.

Collaborate with external contractors for monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance of specific equipment.

Required Qualifications :

Proven experience in maintenance, with a focus on industrial machinery and equipment.

Forklift Certification.

Scissor Lift Certification.

Lockout / Tagout Certification (LOTO).

Familiarity with Hoist Systems and safe operation practices.

Additional Information :

While the primary work hours are 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM, flexibility to stay beyond scheduled hours when needed is required.

External resources perform some of the specialized preventive maintenance tasks, but you'll be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally.
