Position Specifics

As a nurse in a K-12 school you will play a vital role in providing healthcare services to students and staff ensuring their well-being during school hours. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and contribute to their overall health and safety. The nurse provides medical care and assistance to students in accordance with established protocols and guidelines. The school nurse collaborates with teachers and parents to develop individualized healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions or special needs and provides emergency care as needed. This position also provides education and professional development opportunities to other school staff regarding health emergency response and emergency medication administration.
